In one study, we ran a series of benchmarks on the HP Elite Dragonfly G3 featuring a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1265U processor vs. a Dragonfly G2 featuring an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor. In another, we compared an HP EliteBook 840 G9 featuring a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1245U processor vs. an EliteBook 840 G8 featuring an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor. Both new-generation devices achieved higher scores in all our benchmark tests than their previous-generation competitors.
